Each year when the Season of Advent begins, I realise anew how countercultural this season is. Advent asks a lot of us – increasingly so, it seems! – yet we have much to gain by practicing anticipation, yearning and hope in the Christian life.

Bring your unique voice to a vibrant community engagement ministry in the heart of Glenelg. The music coordinator will provide music for worship as well as integrate music into the UnitingCare Glenelg programs. This could include arranging for lunch time concerts, music in the courtyard or forming a musical group to build supportive community among volunteers and guests. This is a casual position, anticipated to be 2-4 hours a week as required.

As the COVID numbers continue to rise in South Australia, we will not gather for worship throughout January. We will resume gathered worship when numbers plateau.
Rev. Graham Sturdy will prepare at home worship resources for Sundays 9 and 16 January. Please look out for Notices with the links to download the resource. Thank you, Graham, for preparing these for our community.
Please spread the word among your church friends, especially those who do not have email. A sign will be placed on the church door for any potential visitors.
