Psalm 51 is a traditional part of the Lenten season. It includes some well known lines including “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Today’s contribution is a portion of a prayer inspired by Psalm 51 written by Sister Joyce Rupp, O.S.M., co-director of The Institute of Compassionate Presence.
