Tuesday Night Prayers

Simple night prayers (compline) are offered every Tuesday evening at the completion of the community meal for all who wish to take part.

This will be a time to reflect on the day, seek the support of one another and God through the offering of prayer (with candles), and invite God’s peace and protection as day turns to night.

All are invited to Tuesday’s compline prayer, even if you are not part of the community meal. Just come to the church hall around 7:15 pm to sanitise and sign in.

Shared Worship begins Sunday 19 July

Beginning 19 July at 10:00 am those who wish are invited to gather in the Church Hall for communal worship. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to sanitise your hands and sign in as part of our COVID Safe practices. For more information, please read a detailed letter here.

The communal worship will use the home worship resources offered each week through this time of transition and uncertainty. The weekly contemplative prayer guide and reflection includes scripture engagements, artwork, poetry and prayers for use as personal or small group worship.

Home Worship 5 July 2020

Dear Friends,

As we continue to make our way through this time of transition and so much remains uncertain, may we find peace through our prayer and direction through our reflective practices. I will continue to provide at home worship resources and those who wish are invited to gather in the church hall for shared worship beginning 19 July at 10:00 am. Please arrive early to allow for sign in and hygiene.

You may also want to gather for night prayer (compline) on Tuesday evenings at approximately 7:15 pm. As I expressed it to our friends at the community meal, it is like a good night kiss from God.

The Home Worship Guide for this Sunday is available here and the Reflection in Solitude is available here.

Peace be with you,

Christine
